Welcome to the 14th edition of our #BuildinPublic newsletter! 🙌🏼. In February, our primary focus was on establishing community partnerships and expanding our development team with exceptional freelancers. Take a look at our progress!
Let's take a look at February 2023 and what we have planned for March
WORK
✅ Launched our freelancer app, allowing freelancers to be booked directly through their public profiles.
✅ Expanded our freelance development team to include three talented freelance developers. Omar, Sergii and Abi.
✅ Added our custom talent search to the Workfree Dashboard.
FREE
✅ Welcomed Hollie Fraser, our new community partner, founder of "We Are Shelance," a global hub for freelance female creatives. 🎉
✅ Interviewed talented freelancers for our #GoingFreelance Series. Listen to them here
✅ Added more talented freelancers to our community: Stand out profiles include: Ben White, Marcello Trotta, Natalie Panova
LIFE
✅ Hosted our 2nd founder meet-up of the year in the beautiful city of Prague. Thanks for hosting us Yury & Olga
✅ We worked from the UK, Prague and Ireland and mostly home and the gym.
✅ Reality set in that we have a 100KM run and an Iromman to complete this year - training steps up.
What's in store for March
✅ Work: This month, we're dedicated to developing our communities app and engage feature for our April launch. We're also enhancing our talent pools feature and introducing a new freelance profile design. 👊
✅ Free: Preparing to onboard our first community leaders and put our free freelancer app into the hands of their community members. We're also planning out #PooleParty to be held 13th June on the beach
✅ Life: Spring is in the air, so as founders, we are feeling fresh 🌿. Our founder meet up in March will be online, so we can include & involve our freelance development team in a day session of planning and connection.
In Summary: February was great, but March is going to be incredible
