Workfree: September 2023 Update #buildinpublic

Here we are! 

It’s the 9th edition of our #buildinpublic newsletter.  September was spent launching new product features, announcing our $400K fundraise, shaping our messaging and importantly, speaking with as many freelancers and companies as we could.

WORK

✅ Featured in Startup100 as we finally announced our $400K fundraise. 

✅ Launched our new pricing, free to start, easy to scale for everyone.

✅ Lined up incredible beta users to test our white-labelled ‘communities’ platform 

✅ Met with the wonderful Cat (ThinkrevOps), SJ (Farringford Legal) & Ash (Tipalti) in London.

FREE

✅ We did it again – grew our freelance sign ups by 50% now boasting over 1000 incredible freelancers on the platform. 

✅ Signed share agreements with our first Co-Founding Community members 

✅Met with the talented Julia Arenson in the London Specsavers’ remote offices.

LIFE

✅ We cheered on Jonnie in the Barcelona ironman competition  

✅ We finally had a founder meet up during our time in Barcelona to meet, make plans for Q4 and have some fun together. 

✅ We enjoy the freedom with travel and work in 

What’s in store in October 

Work: Improving our in-app onboarding and self serve set up, improving our company profiles UX,  preparing to launch our eco-system partners programme.

 Free: Inviting in more Co-Founding Community members, hosting our first live Q&A for Co-Founding Members. Interviewing and hiring talented freelance Ruby on Rails developers. 

 Life: We will be working in the UK and Czech Republic.
