Here it is the seventh instalment of our #buildinpublic newsletter. July has brought new ideas and developments for Workfree as we grow our own Co-Founding Community and explore ways of serving other communities on the Workfree platform.

Ok, let’s see what happened in July and what August has in store.

WORK

✅ All the investments from our F&F fundraise are in the bank! 

✅ We are rapidly developing features to support communities.

✅ We hired freelancers in Partner Success (Fredrik), Talent Success (Francesca) & Copy (Boris, Bela & Mischa)

FREE

✅ Grew freelancer sign-ups by 57% MoM.

✅ Selected more Co-founding Community members. 

✅ Welcomed two new community advisors Georgie & David. 

LIFE

✅ Worked in Ireland, UK, Netherlands, France, Czech Republic, UAE

✅ Enjoyed meeting Josh heap in London to talk all things product. 

✅ Jonnie & Amy made the move to the ‘Silicon Coast’.  After 1 million boxes they are settled.

What’s in store in August 

Work: Announcing our pre-seed round publicly and launching our communities platform which will allow any community to build a freelance marketplace (stay tuned)

Free: Grew our Co-founding Community further and worked with communities to gather feedback on our product.

Life: We will take a short break, recharge and get ready for a smashing H2 .  We will be working along the way and living our best Work Free Life. #WorkFreeLife
